Restaurant was clean with comfortable air temperature. Although service was pleasant, in-store service is very slow. As with all other Ottawa Tim Hortons, speedy service is primarily focused on drive-thru customers at a rate of minimum 5:1 compare to in-store. Another issue at this Tims is handicap parking is available but the walkway from the parking spot to the entrance is not maintained so you have to be extremely careful climbing over snow and/or ice-if you're not steady on your feet or if you walk with a cane or Walker, you should not park in the spot closest to the door or you risk hurting yourself. Also the handicap automatic door button on both entrance door, inner/outer does not always work. One will & the other won't on several occasions during winter. If you must rely on automatic doors to be able to enter this location, either make sure you have an able-bodied person to open doors for you or you will have to ask strangers for assistance or knock on the restaurant window & hope someone hears your call for help.

My third experience was today. I ordered a couple of donuts which were good and an extra large hot chocolate I watched you're prepared but was not really paying that close of attention by the time I got to Masham and my hot chocolate had cooled off enough to drink I realize that she had made me a medium sized hot chocolate and then topped the rest up with 3/4 hot water. Needless to say all my drink tasted like was hot water. I'm going to keep going back and watch them like a hawk they are going to treat me properly come hell or high water and every time they don't I'm going to post my experience right here for everyone to read.

My second visit, I gave the girl the exact change to pay for my product she put it all in the cash and told me I was $0.50 short. of course at that point the money was all in the cash register and I had no way of recounting what I gave her but I had had the person with me also count the change to make sure that it was right before we gave it to her. I did not argue with her I handed her a toonie because that was all I had in my pocket and then she did not give me any change arguing that I had given her two quarters I insisted on getting my daughter 50 back.

My feeling is that Tim Hortons in general does not give a damn about their customers anymore it's all about the bottom line and because there's no competition out there they think they can get away with what they want. I hope that all of you will post your experiences with this Tim Hortons and any other Tim Hortons that you have since it's been Americanized it's really gone downhill I want my old Canadian Tim Horton's back.
